A Cacao Ceremony is a community gathering centered around the ancestral drink of Cacao. We drink Cacao to open our hearts and connect to the essence of who we truly are.

Each gathering is different as we are guided by the cosmic energy of the day based on the Mayan Cosmovision and influenced by the energy of the group. In general, you can expect a combination of sound healing, somatic release modalities, conscious breathing, open vulnerable sharing, and feeling safe & connected. You will learn about the benefits of drinking Cacao and experience it first hand in the strong energetic container of ceremony.

What to Bring:

• Water
• Flowers or Offering for the altar
• Journal (optional)
• instruments, rattles, etc (optional but lovely if you'd like to share a song or prayer)
• an Open mind & open Heart

How to Prepare:

• Avoid eating heavy meals or fried foods 3 hours before (light breakfast recommended)
• Avoid any caffeine 3 hours before & 3 hours after
• No alcoholic beverages the night before and day of ceremony
• Please avoid any other recreational substances the night before and day of ceremony

What Can You Expect:

Every ceremony is different, and each facilitator has their own "flavor" What you canexpect from ME however, is:

• a safe container - energetically, emotionally, physically, and mentally
• deep reverence and respect for the medicine
• honoring of the elements, ancestors, and guides
• a ceremony held with utmost integrity
• medicine prepared in prayer

As far as the 'flow' - each ceremony is intuitively guided. I have a flexible structure that adjusts based on the needs of the community, not my ego.
